I’m Aj — a full-time musician, composer, and online music educator. I specialize in working with homeschool families to create music lessons that are fun, flexible, and deeply personal.

I specialize in creating 1-on-1 online music lessons that are flexible, engaging, and built around how homeschool students actually learn — not a one-size-fits-all curriculum. I’ve helped students explore music through the styles they love — from pop and classical to video games, anime, and heavy metal.

Frequently asked questions

Do you only teach homeschool students?

Yes. This program is designed specifically for homeschool families.

Are lessons live or pre-recorded?

All lessons are live, one-on-one, and taught online via Zoom.

Do you accept charter school funds?

Yes. I’m a certified vendor with select California charter schools.
Lesson rates vary based on lesson length and charter requirements.

How often are lessons?

Lessons are typically scheduled once per week for consistency.

What is your absence policy?

Cancellations must be made with at least 24 hours in advance. Otherwise, the class will be charged. After a class has been properly cancelled, the student is entitled to a makeup session within two weeks of the original lesson date(s) based on the teacher’s availability or a video lesson will be recorded when make-ups cannot be accommodated.

Most students are elementary through high school.

Do parents need to attend lessons?

Not required, but parents are always welcome to observe.
